Event cohosted with Cleveland SPE
A fact finding based meeting about the ‘plastics problem’ we are planning to utilize a number of interactive techniques to address the problem with the variety of attendees in the audience. We each have our own perspective and as we utilize an introduction plus video clips to set the stage along with our speaker from Berry Global. We also will have a targeted breakout session to investigate a set of types and solutions for recycling.
Tim Ponrathnam is Project Manager & Materials Scientist – Sustainability for the Consumer Packaging Division at Berry Global.
As one of the sustainability leaders for the Consumer Packaging Division, Tim is focused on driving programs to increase the use of recycled and sustainably sourced materials in rigid packaging applications. Prior to his current role, Tim worked in a variety of positions in R&D and Project Management at Berry. Tim has a Ph.D. in Plastics Engineering and has been a Student SPE member as well as a young professional member at SPE.
